Mike at Vauxhall
Thought I saw it at Davenport, but now can't see it. Customer has tried a few places, the silc/jma/keyline blanks just don't seem to work. The shoulders seem cut away, and the key seems longer. Looking for a genuine blank. Does anyone know who else stocks it?
Michael
https://www.aldridgesecurity.co.uk/asec-0211-asec-6-pin-cylinder-blank.html I've had no problems with HD ASEC2 though! Mike at Vauxhall
kobblers
Same here; I've cut loads and had no issues. Rick.
Mike at Vauxhall
Both keys I cut worked fine, on keyline blanks. Customer was ecstatic, and wanted to pay me more money. Nice result. I didn't take any more money, but a customer for life. I think it helps he told me of previous problems, made me a bit more careful. lock&quay
Silca blanks need to be held in the bottom fluting on these .

Never had to do that and I sell hundreds as we have 22 Asec master key systems in operation. We use genuine blanks on assembly and Asec2 for duplication as they are mostly fitted to HMO. Growster
We've found that the original blanks break very easily. Since then I ask for suites to be made with Silca keys. This situation may have improved in the meanwhile.

There was an issue a few years ago with this happening but has not been an issue with us since then. All that broke where replaced.
