You won't get a better machine for the money, because there isn't one!

That's why auto locksmiths worldwide choose it over any other machine.

Build quality and technical support are first class, with regular free updates.

I've owned one since it came out and would recommend it highly.

If you have any questions, contact Peter or Neal at Lockdecoders.com

Hi.

There are 1 or 2 people here who hate it, but we have hundreds of customers here and around the world who love it and they have the other manufacturers machines and certainly rate the A9 with them for ease of use and functions.

We try our hardest to help and we have a dedicated tech support and help desk. We are continuously working with our customers on new features and functions.

We have have just launched the A6 which is an auto only machine and it is the same speed and power of the A9, but has a key board instead of the touch screen tablet with built in Instacode card numbers. It also has replaceable jaws like the A9.

I don't hate any machine you supply and they are very good at what they do.

But imo Silca machines are the benchmark and there is nothing better but do admit they cost one hell of a lot more.

I do like the Silca and JMA Code machines as well as they are heavy duty etc. But ability to price - you are correct they can not come close to the A9 machine .

to get some silca machines to cover the range the A9 covers you are talking £25K plus :o

As a miracle A9 owner let me give you some advice before buying one,

Firstly go to a show to have a look at one(it may or may not be the machine you want)

Secondly if you do decide to buy one ensure that it is fully loaded with the latest software

Thirdly GET SOME TRAINING ON IT!!!!! before training get a list of questions specific to what you will be doing with the machine and ask away.

Fourth you will need Instacode to obtain the card numbers of the keys you want to cut,so add this into the costing's

you will be given a instruction book that may as well be written in Chinese.

They are a very good machine for the money and as an entry level to auto key cutting, dimple keys, tubular keys and keys to code they are a must.

In my opinion I think it wont be long before we have a thread specific to the A9 owners because it is not a very easy machine to master.

I have to agree with key cabin on this, the machine is a good machine but it does take a long time to get your head around it.

There is no in depth manual on how to use the single standard key clamp (house hold) etc, no in depth information about cutting car keys, laser, standard , sx9.

Also I have been told it will run along side instacode but still heard nothing about this.

Every key we have cut on this has worked but it can be a lot of trial and error at the cost of time and keys

Points taken.

We always give training on all our device and 60 days free tech support. We have many videos on all the functions of the machines.

At the moment we are re looking at the domestic jaw to see if we can improve the way it clamps the key and cuts it.

It wasn't aimed at you Graham Parker.

All instructions are written in English and if you cannot understand something then please let us know by email as this is the easiest to relay back to the engineers.

Does anybody know much about the a6 that's just come out I believe the a5 is now discontinued and a6 is in its place. Cant find much info regarding it though!

Hello if you email me your Email address I can send details on the A6 and we have a couple of offers on A5 if you would like details

Basically A6 is same as such as A5 but bigger / faster / and easier to use .

If you buy an A9 from SKS (Or any other supplier) they should give you free training,

When I 1st saw the machine my training was there is the machine .... LOL ....

But this said I picked up the machine very quickly and can offer my help via Email / Over the phone etc to anyone who has a machine from us .

Some A9 Video details to help with use and training .

Hi John

Sorry but I can't see how these video's "help with use and training" ?

All they show is the cutting or decoding in motion.

I would expect a help video to show, how to set the key in clamp, how to enter & use data in the software etc.

These videos show what I would class as the end result after all the important parts have been done.

Do you have any videos of software use and correct clamp usage etc?

Thanks

Further to my start of this thread, I have had a long phone call from Peter at Lockdecoders, as far as the connection to Instacode is concerned, a lot of hard work has been done to ensure that the A9 will speak to Instacode and visa versa, Peter said that this will still take another couple of months and that it is Instacode that is holding up the proceeding's.

If like me you didn't get an instruction manual with the machine, you can download a copy from the Lockdecoders website. ( I was being visecious when I said it may as well be in Chinese, just cause I didn't get one)

Peter also admitted that the A9 is not the easiest of machines to master, but with a lot of time and patience you will get there. If there is a problem Peter will be happy to help.

The machine that I purchased was a second hand one from SKS and wasn't told of training, so John, if and when you are up this end of the woods training would be appreciated :-) Or better still give your reps some in-depth training then they can solve problems when they come to see us every month.

Now lets get to the training video's. As far as them being training video's, I think someone is trying to kid me [-X

What we could do with is a full video that takes you step by step from beginning to end on the dimple, tubular, auto and domestic cutting, and then one on how to and when to calibrate all the different callipers. PLEASE :D

The next thing I intend to do is to set up a A9 owners thread on here, when I know how to
