stevecoco
Is it me or are all Rotary watches a pig to change the battery on? Backs are hard to get off and even harder to refit?
Lee
I've never noticed it, but then again I'm good....

grahamparker
They can be quite a bugger to get the backs back on at times, a good watch back press usually sorts the job out. Did have one that took us ages as each time it seemed to sit but if you tapped the watch a loud "pop" followed and the back fell off again. stevecoco
Yep the back keeps popping off this one too, gonna have to put them on my blacklist.
derek
what watch clamps are you using Steve if it's the plastic ones then i'd recommend investing in the robur tool and dies, worth the money

Count Muppet
Sounds like you may have dented the back inwards slightly, easily done if putting it back with your thumbs. I use the robur tool to gently press it back out, then put on as normal
stevecoco
I have a decent press which works well, just this type of watch appears to be very close tolerance fit.
