Happy Dude
has anyone else had problems with Anglians new YALE branded locks for their uPVC doors?? 3rd time in a month we've cut keys for them and 3rd time we have problems, they are a 6 pin key, the JMA YA-85D 6 pin blank looks the same won't fit and a UL2 fits but rattles around until it works of a fashion.. i've tried SKS but no joy.... StevenB
I've had problems with the 5 pin version of this key. Cut it by clamping it by the grooves of the key, not on the bottom & see if that helps.
Happy Dude
thanks lads, we had thought of clamping them through the groove and were going to try that next, ordered some YA5's to try...
Abshank12
If your Anglian Home Improvements door is still under guarantee and in your name, ring their free-phone number and ask for blank key. They should be able to send it free of charge! You can then get it cut and it should fit perfectly.
discodave
this might work on the uap original blank they are special order ill get the code for you tomoro UAP+ is whats stamped on the blank. sks have to special order them but it may be better to try and source them from UAP direct, think the company is called universal imports
grahamparker
The UAP blanks you refer to are the new zero lift blanks designed to combat picking and bumping and they are slightly higher than most of the other 6 pin blanks available. North West keys carry these although they have no stock at the minute. The locks in question are actually yale so the yale genuine blanks should also work perfectly. Michael
here for retail site here for trade site There is a retail site and a trade site, but I think you need to be a registered locksmith to register on the trade site. They will sell you the UAP+ blanks. Minimum order for UAP+ is 100 blanks I think.

Davostech
We stock the genuine key for this, our reference XGC068. We currently have 160 in stock. Also, our UL2 should work? Hope this helps
Michael
If there's a shallow cut on the end of the key then UL2 doesn't work, genuines are a gnats longer.I had this problem months ago and UAP never came through with the blanks.
