Lee
It gave me great pleasure to present our first ever Supplier of the year award at the gala dinner Saturday evening following our nominations through out Aug/Sept. During my speech I commented how we actually rarely discuss poor service but always good service from companies who've got it right! the "who do you use for this" questions are only ever answered with the Right answers about the service from large companies to small busines's supplying niche market with outstanding service. important to us are product knowledge, stock levels & speed of dispatch always being top of the agenda. I also believe that customer service levels are often at the top of what makes a company we'd recommend to other members. Our winner ticked all the boxes with nomination comments including "always helpful on identifying blanks" "delivery always fast" "British company supplying mainly British products" "excellent service" Most will now know who our winner is but special praise also went to one of the companies reps "my rep Bob H goes beyond the call of duty to help in any way he can" "the rep Bob does everything in his power to get me, stock on time" The winner of the 2010/11 Supplier of the Year ward is Davenport-Burgess Thank you to all those who voted. I'm under pressure today, but will upload some images in the next few days. Lee

Lee
Craig it was a close run vote between 3 companies, Davenports received more votes than anyone else, this is not an individuals vote but a collective of many views. This makes them the Members worthy winner. Davenport Burgess won fair & square! Incidentally rlj, I did not vote at I felt if it was a draw I would have the final deciding vote, this year I did not need it. Lee

k4mrc
IMHO - this company has 'made me' more money /profit than any other - also, they have gotten me out of trouble 'time after time' great product knowledge, in fact the best! if only they went into Transponder chips and remotes on a bigger basis, so well done that they are being recognised 'at last'
