The winner will be the member who receives the most votes. (In the event of a tie, I will make the final decision based on the “reason for the nomination†replies.) Lee Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 Who would have thought the forum would still be here a half a decade later! it’s the forums 5th Birthday today which means its time to reveal who you the members have voted “The Shoe Repairer Forum Member of the year 2010†In previous years we have had some close voting even drawing a tie in 2007, but this year there has been a unanimous winner! Our winner for 2010 gained 58% of the overall votes & I am pleased to announce the winner, who receives £100 of Argos vouchers & the coveted crown for 2010 is…………………….. Andy - from Shaw Trophies, Surrey Nominations included Comments “Given me several epo's files, some in fill wax & barrel of laughs in the chat room!†“an abundance of info on engraving and everyything to go with it nothing is a bother to him top bloke†“very helpful on engraving matters and good fun in the chat room†“nice guy who always helps if he can†“Top service to requirers of vectorised graphics†& This one from Gav, which really sums up the reasons Andy has won through this year. “Andy deserves this award for his very generous amount of time spent on uploading logos for various members, and his funding raising in doing so. He is also very funny guy in the chat room. Hope he wins, as his efforts are very appreciated†I don’t usually mentions those who haven’t won but a couple of the nominations really spoke volumes for some of the other members on the site & showed the true spirit of the project Random nomination for:- Hibsjo “he has always been giving advice on almost anything - and his 'scots' sense of humour - is missed when he is on his holidays. a great guy with a fair attitude on all subjects.†TheKeyVan “Craig's always willing to help anybody and his expertise regarding key programming is a great asset to the forum.†graham parker “Full of usefull info and helpfull to.†& Finally two random nominations which made me laugh a bit! Said of Stutheshu “i love him to bits†Is there something you want to share?
