most expensive shoes you have worked on??

Hi all,

 

I have been out in San Francisco for 4 months now and things are a little different from my little shop in the Welsh Valleys, gone are the days of working on nasty cheap PVC shoes with "your feet look gorgeous" writen on the inside

 

A few weeks ago i had a pair of mens shoes come in for a full JR through sole and comb heels, the price on the box said $2950, I thought that was alot of money, then last week a pair of ladys boots with a price tag of $11,995.

 

thats just silly money they weren't even nice.

 

Anyone worked on more expensive?????

Sounds like you have some very serious customers! do the styles varry much from the UK?

 

the most expensive shoes I've worked on (or at least the nicest!) are John Lobbs, not to be confused with their retail brand these where the genuine articles hand lasted from France. VERY nice shoes!

I aint worked on shoes that were that expensive.... But they probably were worth that much when they left the shop...
