Auto Key Wizard
Are you saying the screw can't be loosened or loosened but still tight on shaft?
Champa Wampa
It can be loosened but there is no movement. I stuck an Allen key into the screw hole and tapped it with a hammer up and down but still no movement.
Count Muppet
Shouldn’t the screw be over the flat part on the shaft? seems to have been fitted in the wrong place likely to be burrs where the grub screw has tightened into the shaft and that’s probably enough to keep it in place unless you unscrew all the way and use a fair bit of force Auto Key Wizard
Auto Key Wizard
Get some maintenance spray on to it and let it soak a while
keithm
I would remove the Allen screw completely, pour some penetrating oil down the thread and leave for an hour. I would then screw in a longish bolt of the same thread as the Allen screw but only part way, you could then use it as a lever to rotate the collar, I also suspect it has been secured in the wrong place. It will probably need a gentle tap to loosen the collar, but it should shift good luck! x minit uk
