Where you buying the leather from? And what you charging for them. Inbox if you dont want details public

We make a leather embossing machine which we sell to some of the larger wallet makers etc. So a customer wants his name on his wallet or belt or bag. You use a cnc machine and cut out this out of brass and now take this blank and put it in the embosser and it either heat embosses or use hot foil.

I have a big co2 laser in my back shop but have been warned against cutting leather with it, apparently the stench lingers

Yeah it does a bit. I only 'mark' leather, don't cut it. I've put names and stuff on belts if people have asked, but it's not something I've done as an advertised service.

Mainly from Pet Hardware in Czech Republic and some bits from Abbey or Artisan Leather.

Very nice website Paul. Mine doesn't have a webshop - I'm a bit intimidated by what might be involved in setting one up, but I've invested bigly in engraving machines/stock this year so it's on my mind to make it all work. It's a priority goal for the start of 2025, cheers for the reminder

The only thing to stop you should be time! I spent ( and still do) hours devolving that site.

Go on wix.com and start playing around, there is no charge until you want it to go live.
