Two_pints
How reliable are Asec euro cylinders? I heard Asec’s Kite Elite has a sensitive clutch that’s a failure risk. Opinions?
grahamparker
Only sold a few, never had any issues other than one being snapped when the customer dropped it on the floor while fitting. Two_pints
CummingsLocks
Wish I could find a reliable 3* cylinder... thinking of just selling 1* now - too many returns and call outs to failed ones
10ringo10
Uap + and the Zerolift are worth a look at. Handles make a big difference too. Ringo
almeriasecure
Apecs AP 3* for me. Zero failures up to now. 10 year manufacturers warranty too.

And Micota’s anti-snap design (used by Asec and various others) frequently fails because of clutch problems. Any idea if it’s true? Are Yale, Mul-T-Lock or Evva more reliable? You might want to look into the warranty it’s not what they say it is. Just another cheap cylinder nothing special Two_pints
Lock Stock
For me I feel the Multlock 3XP is one of the best. Design wise and quality of the product it stands out stands out, Aldi being Multlock very reliable. The other similar but not as well designed would be the ABS Master (not the super, federal built one). Two_pints
