Confirmation of fake watch.

Recommended Posts

Received this WhatsApp from a customer. The watch in question was "almost" definitely a fake casio. She bought it for £30 of a website. I'm very reluctant to legally confirm it is a fake, because long and short of it, I can't be 100% certain.

I don't feel it would be a good idea to be dragged into any legality.

Any advice.

I’d steer clear just in case. I would have thought it’s unusual to have such a low value watch being copied though?

Casio are moving up into much better quality built watches.

I would advise customer to return watch to a Casio dealer for a complete and accurate report, as you are not a dealer you cannot confirm the authenticity of the watch.
