Mike at Vauxhall
A few months ago, inspired by a thread, I started keeping a book of every item a customer wanted, but I didn't stock. Some of them were just ridiculous, some were quite easy to tag on to an order( eg ferrules, unusual colours of laces). One range of items repeatedly cropped up. Mobile phone accessories. Previously I'd not been interested, my only supplier being a good cash and carry, but I don't think reliable for electronics. So I'm trying these people. https://www.core-retail.com Anyone else tried a similar range ? kobblers
CDTL
Great idea made me think about doing the same thanks for posting and as you say if anyone knows of good quality suppliers then please let us know
kirkybob
I had a unit in an indoor market for some years and next door was a Mobile Phone man. I did notice although his stall was full of cases on show he actualy sold very very few, he said they where displayed only to let people know he dealt with mobile phones, and in fact with regard to cases the phone models changed so fast he got them in to order. his main source of income was repairs, mainly screen replacement and sale of chargers and leads. His main supplier ( a wholesale phone company) also provided a service of repairing any thing he couldnt do. hope this info is helpfull . Mike at Vauxhall
Definitely not looking at phone repairs, seems like a nightmare, and I knew cases just change too quickly to be viable. I'm just looking at getting some cables, adaptors, memory cards and power banks.

Not really a problem, I'm in a commuter station. Customers want the item immediately, and they don't mind paying a pound or two more for it either. As for Mr mobile. Just tried to reg, kept asking for my state/province even though they are UK based. Tried london/England/UK/Greater London, rejected, now just annoyed with the website. Mike at Vauxhall
Thanks will look into that. I will sell a small range of the accessories with the month. But really it's another classic case of me giving way too thought and research to a range that not even come close to generating more than .5% of my weekly turnover, but every little helps. CDTL
totally agree only a small cash generator but what i have found is that whatever i have introduced in the shop always sells as long as it is a good product and package well . i really like this one ? Not a poundland near me, so really a problem. However, could easily have spent £10 there, instead of the other ( more expensive )wholesaler. Then I could sell these cables at a much better price point of about £3/£3.50, instead of about £6.
Mike at Vauxhall
Had my first sale, followed by a refund within10 mins, faulty power bank. That's taken the wind out my sails. Customer was a regular, and fine about it, but I don't really want my reputation potentially ruined for such an insignificant reason. kobblers
