T&B lock

Does anyone have any experience of a garden gate lock (from a company called T& that will lock and unlock like a glorified suffolk latch on the inside but on the outside all you have access to is a euro cylinder keyway. You can pop the key in and throw the lock...but you can't (as far as I can tell) do another turn of the lock to lift the handle on the inside (there isn't a handle on the outside).

 

Any ideas?!? I have Googled and Googled but cannot find a picture of the lock in question. I'll return with a camera if this is insufficient info.

Nope.

 

It's not that type of lock at all. hmmm... I'll try and find a better picture!

A picture always helps.

 

If it's like this one then it is key lockable from either side but if it is locked on the inside then you can't unlock from the outside. Opening from the outside is done with a turn of the key and then depress the lock.

Not seen one like that, is the keep supposed to do something clever like move down to allow the latch to pass through?

I would say the door pulls towards you in that pic and I have never seen anything like it I think Zedlock is still a good bet to ask
