thumb turn turners have been around for many years , all work on similar principles , from budget versions to bells and whistles versions , most letterbox tool suppliers have an attachment for their LBT and of course peterson make a set of easy thumb turn turners for use via the keyway.

ive seen plenty of home made versions too , made for as little as 20p that are equally as effective if not as pretty.

 

of course many uk thumb turns have evolved to make this far tougher to achieve , though not so with most budget ranges customers go for as want cheap over adequate security .
