NYKeys
Worth it for those of us who just do key cutting (but wanting to branch out into lock opening if only we could find a training course/trainer up North)?
grahamparker
Do your homework before laying out any money at all there are some good and bad courses you can go on. Although not a member i would always recomend the MLA as you will be shown by qualified experts. I have come across dozens of "so called locksmiths" who have paid a couple of thousand pounds to become driller killers who don't even understand what a tension tool is used for. kobblers and lockdecoders
MarkD
I imagine it would be difficult to branch out unless you can find staff to replace you in the shop. I guess I'm the opposite way around as a mobile locksmith, I'd love to have my own shop but then I'd be stuck behind a counter all day and not be able to do the work I love kobblers
