safelycrackers
Hi Have a customer who has brought in a 3mm thick brass house sign, 13.5" long, 2 inches wide. Engraved on one side not very deep with an old house name. Reverse side polished up well and is engraveable. What would you chaps charge to engrave "KNOCKMOY" on the reverse with no infilling required. Struggling to come to a decision. What would you charge to supply and engrave a new sign same size etc with 2 screw holes and bevelled edges? Thanks Dave

Paul_
Not really sure what we'd charge but maybe would of gone down the £2 per letter route, so about £16??
safelycrackers
Thanks Paul, I was really not sure about cost to engrave theirs, seems I might have been a bit high at abput £30, which was the figure I had in mind, will rethink pricing a bit. x minit uk
I would charge half of what I would normally charge. Time costs a lot more than materials. shadowster

x minit uk
What would you normally charge x minit uk? At least £80 for a sign that size, so about £40 if I used his material. Don't forget the vat man etc will still want his cut.
k4mrc
If the price is £80 for you to supply, then I would take bout 25 - 30 % off of that and charge the rest. Materials are only about 25% after all
