Lee
I had a new pool installed in the shop overnight, what do you think? Why did the landlord think it a good idea to have the roof replaced in November?
Mick Friend
Hells Bells what a dickhead, I saw a house having its roof stripped of slates today in the RAIN. My neighbours had an extension built in the summer and they put a scaffold up and a umbrella roof fitted.
Lee
Above me is a flat & apparently thats totaled! 3 flats & 2 shops affected. Funny though the roofers have made themselves scarce today! I walked straight through the rain that was falling into my shop & practically draped myself over my watch bench like a mother protecting her children. I was devastated! all my beautiful tools! Anyway, a few hours later & you'd never know. worried the water will knacker the counters a few months down the road & make some of my tools go rusty. not sure how I'd go about making a claim when there appears no damage but could be in a few months time? Michael
I'd speak to your insurance company and get their advice, and take plenty of photos!!

grahamparker
We had a similar problem with another shop we had, take plenty of photos and document everything and any item that could later be damaged by water ingress. Took a while to sort out but we where fully compensated in the end.
