keithm
It just looks odd, narrow sole and cloddy wide looks, a contradiction in terms I know, but that's what I see. I tried many styles back in the 90's to see if I could improve the look and set a style for my leather work, but in the end I settled on a base look with a little change here and there depending on the style of the shoe, much like you do. Keep it up, it's a pleasure to look at

Keep it up, it's a pleasure to look at Yeh I've always struggled with Blake stitched shoes and getting them to look sleek, Blake stitched shoes are always seemingly clumpy in nature, so I thought rather than just having a groove hovering alone on the sole id frame it. Like I say, sometimes I'll do it sometimes I won't. I love experimenting, I believe we're designed to be creative, I love expressing that. But I'm always thankful for advice and constructive criticism. Thank you
worn_to_reborn
I had an interesting day today! One this I love about this job is there is always opportunities to learn new things and be challenged creatively. These Russell & Bromley boots came to me and the customer wanted to mix up the styling on them. We discussed a few options I said I could try making them into a wedge. She loved the idea so went with it, I've never done anything like this before but loved the challenge. I finished the wedge by covering it in leather. worn_to_reborn
Has anyone ever worked on a pair of Italian 'Berluti' shoes? They're stunning! I had the privilege of doing so today. I did a leather half sole & heel on a pair. I looked into them after I'd finished they retail at around £700 pounds. Yikes! Hope everyone's had a good day

worn_to_reborn
Hey everyone, how are you? I haven't spoken to anyone on here in a while, hope everyones been busy. I thought I'd post a recent repair I've done, I've got very limited experience of hand tooling designs around the sole, I've seen it done and thought I'd try it out, I decided to recreate a brogue pattern as my design, this particular customer didn't have these stitched so I thought they'd make a good canvas to give it a go. Hope you're all well by the way.
