RhettaE
We have these insert trophies that have squared plastic inserts that are self-adhesive. The problem is that they adhesive is not really that great and does not hold up. We are looking for ideas for good plastic to plastic adhesives to reinforce the Insert. I have attached a picture of the trophy so you can get an idea of the shape. We only have issues with the squared ones(Your Logo Here) but never the rounded. Any suggestions? Please remember we are in the US so some products outside the US we will not be able to use. Thank you.

elfman
if its plastic to plastic then why not use the polystyrene glue that is used by the airfix plastic model makers its been used for years it works by gently melting the plastic and forming something akin to welding
souriceaux06
For small areas, I use to glue "chlorophorme" two parts of PMMA. careful not to fall asleep :-& there will be no white marks Trichlorethylene derived methane (CHCl3), colorless, volatile, a characteristic odor, used as an anesthetic and as a solvent. Lee
i think these plates may already have a sticky pad on the back of them that is failing? if that be the case I'd be using some form of doulbe sided adhesion.
