Growster
Has anyone seen this key before? I have, but I don't remember the blank we used. Or even if we successfully made this key.
grahamparker
Silca STA4 or STA4R. Not at work so not exactly sure, but one of them will do the trick or one of the other Star keyblanks.
tommy
I have been thinking for a while that it would be a great idea to use a thread or a new section to compile a list of keys that fit or will work for lock when you do not have the original blank. I know we all like to use the right key but sometimes this is not convenient. Either we cannot get it supplied or the customer is not prepared to wait for it. Like the key above, I had the customer bring in a Clark safe with the same key as above and I found a really old DL key on my boards and it worked a treat = very happy customer DL Montreal - LP2 Just a thought, I wait to be shot down in flames Regards Paul
Lee
Just a thought, I wait to be shot down in flames Regards Paul Not at all Paul I regularly use the search on the site to find blanks. the key here would be for people to start posting topics for keys that work. I've started a new topic which I've made a sticky (stays at the top of the other posts) if people can post in that what works for what, then when we search we can find the answers. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10067 I've also altered & re-compiled the search from a minimum of 3 letters to 2, so searches for the famous F3 can be found! Growster
No shooting here. But the LP2 looks symmetrical from either side. The STA4 or STA10 are not symmetrical. But maybe the keyhole is as forgiving as a busy harbourlady, who knows.
sleutel
Keyhole is forgiving, you can use silca OB1 or RC4.

ponsaloti
Be nice to see it in the Trade area. Why ? What use is this information to the public. It may slow down some of the public that cut keys at boot sales ect, you know, the ones that dont have any overheads or pay tax, insurance ect. IMO alot of stuff on here should be in the Trade area.
