Simes
Please be gentle with me here! I'm very new to this! I have been asked to engrave a new watch on the side with the words "Love Hannah x" in s script of some sort. So... I'm using a U-Marq Uni 350 and I'm thinking clamp it as per the picture below?? Also, what font do you recommend? Another this is that the test tape I have is called Clear Choice but it doesn't really seem to stick to anything. Am I using it wrong? It's tempting just to say leave it and stick with the simple stuff but I have to do it someday! Advice please?

hibsjo(SCO)
is it as easy as that "put a dot with dry wipe pen" in the middle? surely if there is a circumference measured on the watch you move your diamond to 12.5mm on the job and you are there???? but i work in gravostyle and not in vistool so i too stand to be corrected carry on! I have no idea how you'd do it, but in gravostyle I'd have done it by the time I read that lot! good luck, if you get stuck, post it to me & I'll do it for you. Thanks for all that Craig. So with the font that you mentioned, I can't see "cotilion" in either the Vistool or truetype options? What I'm not sure about is that when you type in the Auto text box most of the fonts give an outline of the letters rather than a straight forward single line font. So do I just shade the area? StevenB
Well done Simes, great job. Incidentally, I always do the 'x' about half the size of the other lettering, either justified on the same horizontal level as the rest of the lettering, or slightly below. What does anybody else do?
