mad cobbler
We're can I get a replacement plate from The base plate I'm useing is only for small to med needles & for some of the thicker items I'm stitching When I'm using larger than a 21 needle they seem to catch the edge of the plate Could someone point me in the right direction please
petercoulson
We can get them but I believe they are universal and you dont get a choice of hole size. Bit like Wayne Rooneys prossies. However, are you saying your needles arent coming down the middle of the hole in the plate you have? If so try a couple of things first, loosen the screw above the needle screw and you will find the needle adjusts a little. Otherwise it may be your needle bar is a little bent (have seen this a few times) if so the bar is actually fairly soft, you may be able to bend it with pliers or grips till the needle goes straight down the hole.
