hibsjo(SCO)
so Craig tell me the benefits of a computerised mortice machine that doesnt cut ward cuts and i presume bullet cuts? carry on!
grahamparker
It cuts double sided safe keys to perfection without the need to hand file. It also allows you to completly remove all pegs of union MM, legge H and Legge LV keys as well as all 2 lever precuts. It will allow you to make a new key from a very worn key as good as when the lock was new. It will allow you to alter the cuts in any lock making key changes easier and saving money on buying levers/detainer key sets. For me thats more than enough. I think I must live in a parallel universe. I cut warded keys most days. It possibly helps that all the beach huts here use them, but notwithstanding these, I still cut plenty of others on a regular basis.

grahamparker
How many warded keys have you cut in the last 12 months?I reckon in the last year my shop was open I cut 25! We have 5 multi story blocks of flats on a union 3 lever warded master key system, also most of our local schools are also on 3 lever warded systems so we see at least 2/3 every week. The local council also used some warded Imperial 5 lever locks on there buildings as well.
