ponsaloti
Ian, where did you get the first remote from ? This has reminded me, I had one from 3D a couple of months ago. Tried to code it in a couple of weeks ago but it wouldnt have it. Told 3D and they said they would send out a returns note. Not had it yet. I'll give them a little nudge again tomorrow. Ian platt
Both remotes were originals 1st from advanced keys. Second from 3d group left me wondering weather the first time I may have tried to program in the original first and that may have been problem ? When I checked the second time there was fault code showing which wasn't there the first time .will try it again on next job. Over60 views on other forums. But not 1 reply which I find strange ? Count Muppet
Sometimes I rush through first time and can miss simple bits like "turn ignition on with NEXT key" so find myself with only one working, I soon get it on next try. Also once when I done a vw remote it simply said "program more remotes if needed" or something like that which meant to press the button on all remotes that needed doing. I didn't think to do this so I cycled both remotes in the ignition. This left me with no working remotes and a sinking feeling, but when trying again I tried pressing the buttons and got it. Sometimes you just need to take your time and think carefully about what you are doing, other times I suppose the remote could be dodgy or completely wrong.
