Forest Cobbler
Hi Would any of you have operating instructions for a Perseo Ilco/Orion key cutting machine that we could borrow/buy/photocopy? We are thinking of buying one secondhand but it has no instructions. Many thanks, Valerie
Forest Cobbler
Don't worry, having asked a locksmith friend for advice, we have decided not to buy. V

Forest Cobbler
Well not only were the instructions missing, there appeared to be a bit of the machine missing too. Also, it was supposed to be able to do Jaguar Tibbe keys as well as Ford Tibbe and it couldn't. So we'll be sticking with the Tibbe machine that we've got for the time being. Thanks, Valerie

Stand up and be counted.........I hate my mates getting duped..... ............Superswift........thats him. 5 poster and name says it all.............viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8219&hilit=lasts. hibsjo(SCO)
my machine is used solely for chubb/ford ava and abloy never looked at doing fords or jags on them? carry on!
Forest Cobbler
It's a Jakey Lynx that we've got, and yes we've only been asked for a Jag key on a few occasions. It was really the ability of the Perseo machine to cut keys that we don't already do that made it a possible replacement, that and we had had an offer from our locksmith friend for the Jakey machine if we bought something else. The boss's wife wasn't happy about him buying more machinery anyway, so it's probably all for the best. Valerie
avonsecurity
We have a Perseo and it's great, if it can do the fords then it can do the jags, there is nothing to go missing Jim
Forest Cobbler
Don't understand how it can do an eight cut Jag key when there's only six cutting positions available. And there was most definitely a threaded something missing from the key carriage assembly, meaning that there was way too much pivotal movement. You don't usually get a threaded hole unless there's a threaded bolt that should be screwed into it, surely. A fairly sizeable one at that. ponsaloti
Could the hole be for a transit bolt.
