Michael
A couple of weeks ago I decided to try and setup my mini band on my Standard Lynx after not using it for years. I can't get the bloody thing to run straight and where I want it on the wheel!!! It either runs too far in side, leaving the rubber wheel to mark the shoe, or when I adjust it as in the instruction manual, nearly a third is off the rubber wheel for about 10 seconds and then it jumps back to too far inside. I've gotten by without it for now but sometimes it makes jobs easier and I hate being beaten by inanimate objects!!! Any Ideas!

keithm
This is a 'mini roll, that you can fit on some machines instead of a heel cutter or mini band. A spira roll is something different.
elfman
that looks exactly like the one you supplied me as a one off when i ordered one off these i was told it would not fit the lynx which i did not believe to be correct as i had already fitted two lynx machines with them about 12 years ago and when i order new rubber wheels i asked for them and got just the rubber part of it and always asked for spira bands and got them with no problem
keithm
We supplied it as a one off as we were unsure whether it would fit correctly on the Lynx, this item is designed for the 700 series machines, but I'm pleased that it's working for you. As far as 'spira bands' ae concerned, we probably take a view on what you need as our storeman works it out. However, spira bands are used on the 750 machine, are of a different size and work on centrifugal force to keep them tight whilst the brushes are running. The mini roll tightens up when you tighten the srew on the end and stays tight till loosened to either turnover or change the mini roll
elfman
should have mentioned that all 3 lynx machines i have fitted these to are from the late 80s and the wheels and bands were not ordered from you they were supplied by a leather and grindery merchant apart from the one you supplied
