autolock
i asked about this before tom and i am sure you could get a bayonett as on the power master and get it adapted to screw on to where youre wire brush fits on scouring section.i miss the step irons myself.i have some of the old hand irons which i still use
Gray
I have them on my 700 to black and brown ................................Luvly jubly
petercoulson
Best place on a power unit is as a bayonet attachment where the breaster cone is. Scouring section a little too fast And not much space

tallchris
While we are on the subject can you get a bayonet fitted set of irons for the standard puma finisher (the small one) ??
petercoulson
Is not that easy to quote Tom, unless you have the right type of irons already to mount then you will be going into hundreds of pounds. The right type of iron would not be the old type which are bulky and too heavy for a bayonet, newer type ones are rare but lighter. As for the bayonet part you would need a new insert for the wheel collar, a new shaft for the existing breaster cone as well as one for the iron, these would cost in the region of £200 - £300 plus you need the iron to add to this. Now if you were dead lucky you might just find the type of step iron that fitted a Lynx, as far as I know the thread inside is the same as the breasted cone so would save you a packet. No we don't have any unfortunately, maybe Keith might help.
keithm
I concur with Peter, unfortunately we have no irons that would be suitable. We could make a purpose built one but it would cost a lot as a one off.
Tom D
so what you both are saying is that there was once one made for a lynx finisher that would screw on in place of the breaster cone.i can see how an old type of iron would be to heavy (anyone got one?)
