Just been cutting a key & had a little blade related incident:

Key-Machine.jpg

It wouldn't be so bad, but I can't actually find the other half of the blade... it wasn't impaled in the customer as far as I could see, & there's no trail of blood behind me, so a bit of a mystery really!

Been there, Done that. But not for a while(touch wood). You've either. got the blade jammed and turned the right handle to try & free it or turned the handle before the cutter exiting the blade.

Just checked mine and it's bloody cracked where the peg sits in. :cry:

Neither - it's a RST mk4.

I suspect there was probably already a crack / weakness in the blade & I just forced it into the key too quickly.

Ping!!

Christ only knows where the other half of the blade is though. I still can't find it! :shock:

God love you Andy for trying to keep it all alive. It's all gone wrong, I told Steve not to send him there............ What did I tell him Andy?.........It could have run and run.............It's all come to a grinding halt..............I'm disappointed.......... :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

He should have been evacuated when we saw him at the cutting edge show. ](*,)

Hold on a minute, perhaps he'll be at Trophex. [-o<

Maybe that's the opportunity we need to rescue him... keep it to yourselves though, we don't want anybody to know the plan :-{{{
