Mastergrave-E
Hi, On last checking our Hip Flask prices were in line with our competitors. We don't like to be beaten on price so please feel free to contact us with your requirements and we will see if we can accomodate you. hakeemz
i agree with happy dude, i have been on mastergrave site a few times and wnodered why they havent kept trade prices fro trader (requiring a login) rather than open to all at a slightly higher rate..i couldnt be bothered contacting them for a trade price for a every item i need, and even that to happen every time , it just doesnt make sense.. hibsjo(SCO)
they have a very nice gift catalogue with trade price if you cant be bothered to ask for a price for something more fool you i haggle with everyone nowadays Richard and Ted at Mastergrave included. its upto you to secure the best price YOU can get. carry on! hakeemz
i,m afraid not..if you want my business , i will let you do your pricing and then decide to buy or leave..rather then leave the hunting and chasing for me to do...on retail level nothing annoys me more, i walk into a shop and products have no clear prices on..in wholsale supplier market you have to draw a clear line between retail and wholesale hence the birch, t colledge, sks, davenport, keyprint, and 99% of rest of the suppliers websites are login based.. Happy Dude
Emma @ Mastergrave you seem to have missed the point of my post, i looked at the Mastergrave website for a price on stainless hipflasks, then phoned for the trade price and was told it was the same as the price you are selling to the public. where is the incentive for me to buy from you, where is my profit apart from the engraving?? i feel the price i pay to a wholesaler should be transparent not down to my negotiating skills or haggling, just my tuppence worth... ANDY
it's always worth looking around for a good bargain, all it takes is an email to ask for say all soccer resins on offer then you haggle on the prices you get if i had a penny for every time i said "whats your best price on....." this week i got some 13" chunky cups for a few quid and some soccer resins for just over a pound that retail at a tenner suppliers will always be shifting something, if you ask them to keep you informed of all offers they have, you'll get emails every week i also secured a special rate at my local off licence
Mastergrave-E
As previously stated our Hip Flask prices are very much in line with our competitors pricing and all prices on our website are listed as trade. I understand your concern about 'Joe Public', however we protect ourselves against selling to the public by having a minimum order value. Asking you to contact us was not to give you the trade price but to see if we could assist you with a better price, like many other companies we will offer discounts for larger quantities. We have not felt it necessary to make our website available to registered users due to the bulk of our products generally applying to people with engraving machines. However this is something we will consider for the future. We take this sort of feedback seriously and will take the comments on board.
Happy Dude
thanks for your reply emma, i did indeed phone and was told that that was the trade price, i wasn't informed that i could get a better price for a larger quantity, indeed i wasn't even asked how many i wanted, i was just told "that is the trade price"..... alls well that ends well though, the customer bought some from ebay cheaper than i can get them from yourselves by a considerable margin and i am getting more for engraving them because i'm not supplying the item, happy days... cheers...
