is anyone using a electric singer ??

as ive had to bench mount my singer was thinking of bolting on a singer electric motor & elecy pedal. to use on bigger jobs .me hand cant go round fast enough ,a frends making a small table what slots on to the luggs either side of long arm ,as on his one but his is about 100year old bit of wood

 

but i havent seen the motorised ones since minit years n years ago ,so cant remember how they attach ,i know there belt drive but any photos would be great

theres singer motors on ebay but dont want to get the wrong stuff

could antone help please

Beauty of Electric pedal is that the machine always goes the way you want it to...Starting stitching with a treadle used to be hit & miss wether it went backward or forward, unless you hand started it.

Treadles look nice in an open shop but take up far too much room.

Counter mounted Electric would be my choice on a revolving base with Roller Bearings.

Long Arm like the Adler or Caes I would prefer on a stand.
