Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
Not a one to be controversial I have to dissagree and say that I think these shoes are worth the price. Get the 2 pairs and wear them into the ground then sling em in the bin. Lets face it guys these shoes are cheaper than many sole repair jobs. Yes they are not as good as others that can be repaired by the majority satisfactory but you get what you pay for here, good style, good appearance and a good price. Lets not forget the high priced high fashion last a season footwear that although may be perfection in manufacturing terms do not give a value for money option that the SW shoes do. To SW I say only this, Size 10s please Chelsea Boots or Monk style prefered.
keithm
So what 'many' sole jobs would you price at £49-99 other than long sole Hugh?

Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
So what 'many' sole jobs would you price at £49-99 other than long sole Hugh? Yer ferget Keith.... the buy one get one free offfer known as BOGOF. As for putting quality onto crap.. I would not do it, wear and dispose, it aint worth the ffort or the cost putting decent leather on after having to re-welt. Dump em or use em for tuitions & training. You could of course sent them back to India via the charity collections, yeh, back to roots trip I recommend.

Dump em Double stanards there Hugh, You should never say they're not worth repairing...remember. tut tut tut I never said that they were not worth repairing!!!!! (from a customers point of view). Just my own viewpoint in that it aint worth my bloody effort in remaking the sodding things. If a customer is paying then that is a totally different kettle of crabs, as anything worth wearing is worth repairing as far as the customer is concerned. Could not even be bothwered to sole any shoes now.... just nail a stick on sole over the hole please
