discodave
why pay 60-70% for packaging?
Danny King
why pay 60-70% for packaging? Because a pair of chunky cord laces costs approx 80p and sell for £2.45, Instant sale no hassle. I don't have to measure cut and finish plus customer will expect to pay less as not packaged. Wiltshire Cobbler
I looked at this a couple of years ago but in a different way. I priced up a hand tool and 1000 metal aglets at £140 (A German company but can't remember the name), and was going to reduce the size of any of our blister packed laces to suit the customer, but the cost would have taken ages to get back so we didn't bother. A bit of 'market research' ie. asking a few customers for a week, showed that they wouldn't pay more than around 20p extra for this.
