No it is not Gozin but a name I made up myself, the product could be just plain water, the label sells the product. There is no secret, you all do it already but have not thought deeply enough. Just a case of taking a basic service and expanding it. At the present time most of you just accept stetching as another chore and do not promote it. Nothing else to tell about, the rest is just clever marketing. I was alway suprised years ago that all the Multiples and there were many of them, made little effort to push it before even Key cutting came to them, all those wasted years. The thought came to me initially while standing in a crowded shoe shop 40 years ago waiting as you do with my wife trying shoes on, the assistant took a pair for a customer into the back room to be stretched as they "felt a bit tight". I could see him round the corner via one of those foot stool mirrors and he was reading the paper with the shoes still in his hands, he brought the shoes back out after about 3 minutes and the lady said "Oh those feel much better". From that episode the idea grew as a project in case I ever needed to give up the job in the Engineering trade or be made redundant during Ted Heath's Miners strike of the 70s, it stayed with me locked away for all those years until I started the cat & Mouse game with Hibs. And so endeth the Fairy story, for the fairy princess managed to go to the Ball because her shippers had been stretched where she met a handsome young man and fell in love. Many other members of this Forum, have posted, voluntarily, helpful tutorials in order to assist others in making their job easier, improving their skill set or making them a good few quid which they could never have made without them. You chose to keep your efforts and hap handy hints largely to yourself for whatever reason with this air of mystery surrounding it You make the assumption that NO one else makes real money out of stretching? If I told it on open air, everyone would be doing it and where would the profit be then? Many have posted tutorials, completeing the job is not as easy as it looks on paper, remember when you watched someone scour a heel round on the finisher ? easy wasnt it, until you tried and could not even turn the shoe round. With this idea you got the whole package but it had to come via the recipiant, I had to be sure that they were enthusiastic as they only got bits at a time, just like the rubic cube its not until the last bit is in place will the thing work. I am not prepared to go through the whole process again it can take weeks according to how the peson thinks. Just spouting it off on the forum doesnt work you have to know all about the marketing and how and why it works. You dont send salesmen or women out into the field without getting them fired up about the product because they wont put the effort in the same as if they believed in it. Keith you may as well give up selling machinery and flog dead horses as far as this goes. If Hibs wants to share it then that is his perogative but I doubt it somehow. Well in my opinion this thread makes a mockery of the forum. I've read it time and time again, and to be quite frank, it's bloody idiotic. The plot has been lost, its boring none productive crap And before anyone puts up a long winded reply, that I personally have to concentrate to hard to make any sense of....don't bother cus its dead in the water.
