Safecracker
We sent the customer a Thule 068 to try, it went in but didnt turn. Any ideas on code series? Customer photos I dont have the lock.
grahamparker
Did it blank fit the lock ?. Code could be 089 not 68. Don't be fooled be the smaller loop of the 8 as we have had this in the past. Easy to pick open and remove core. Get the customer to come to you. kobblers
Safecracker
Thank you Graham, customer is in another state. It would be easy if I had the lock. I looked at 89 but I think the 8 would be upside down, as the eight is smaller o one one side - that was my logic.

Safecracker
We cut those keys 11-29 to code they are a different series to 001-250. The number is always on that side of the keyhole, opposite to the Mont Blanc. My logic although maybe flawed is the shape of the 8 see below. grahamparker
As i said, i have seen these myself (foor racks, cycle carries top boxes) with the 8 or other numbers looking upside down also with numbers missing ie 62 being a 162 etc or code is completely wrong altogether. Always cut one of each or if the lock is here 3 minute job to pick and remove core and work out the code.

You can also remove the core by filing back the shoulders on an LF12 or BT2. I agree with Graham that the code could be misread. Rick.
Safecracker
We sell the D1251 and SKS removal keys all the time unfortunately our client is on the other side of Australia. I would send them a removal key but the core only comes out in the open position. Edited January 10 by Safecracker
