As i said, i have seen these myself (foor racks, cycle carries top boxes) with the 8 or other numbers looking upside down also with numbers missing ie 62 being a 162 etc or code is completely wrong altogether.

Always cut one of each or if the lock is here 3 minute job to pick and remove core and work out the code.

Did it blank fit the lock ?. Code could be 089 not 68.

Don't be fooled be the smaller loop of the 8 as we have had this in the past.

Easy to pick open and remove core. Get the customer to come to you.

You can also remove the core by filing back the shoulders on an LF12 or BT2.

I agree with Graham that the code could be misread.

We sell the D1251 and SKS removal keys all the time unfortunately our client is on the other side of Australia. I would send them a removal key but the core only comes out in the open position.
