Thanks When I do a set up with customers, i generally ask them to have a Key DIY tool - like the KD-X2 below . this has many functions, but one simple added function is the signal reader . this does not test the battery, but it tests if the fob is sending a signal out you can then test every button of the fob , eg if its to " Re-shell " the fob you can test it its working correctly before taking anythjng apart . so the end cusotmer can not say " Well it was working before hand " ...
