Icopy  / SCD /  ETD FOB Help / details including  Intratone  / Salto be aware .

Fob / Details to be aware of when using Most Fob Machines .

Sadly there looks to be 2 x Salto fobs on the Market, one is 100% perfect and can be copied – the other comes up with this message below

Both Fobs look the same, one can be copied , one can not .

The ETD machine Does advise the ones it cannot copy – (you may think this an error as others you can copy / this is not an error)

Issue is a Salto Placed on ETD machine

Machine said – Detected MK17B

In RED (Not Green) it also will advise Writing currently Unavailable .

The intratone fob is not one of the fobs that we recommend for copying,

Whilst the EDT1 will read and copy as soon as you place the new fob against the reader panel outside the property the original one will no longer work.

Intratone use a rolling code technology.

This is a problem that has not long come to light.

All future sales of the EDT1 machine will come with a photo sheet of fobs that it can do.

Unknown Fob Manufacture     Works but does not work !

There is  a fob on the market where you copy the original one and the NEW fob works but the old one stops working ! (This is not popular but had popped up)  .

EG - If the fob has read ok and written ok, you may find the Old fob does not work, but the New fob DOES work,

// this wipes the old as such but still the new works, this system is a sort of rolling code system, there will always be at least one working fob,

but that may not be the original . sadly there is no way to tell what this system is,

but again note there will always be a working fob in this situation (Most likely the newest one) à the next written fob becomes the working fob .

TBH it " May " be possiable

with any cards / Fobs to get a 100% answer you have to try them directly reading and writing on the machine " In hand " as such .
