We decode Avocet on the Ninja and the as we have the jaws for Brisant we use the Futura for WXM. If you decode WXM keys and the do not work then use corrections to cut deeper. This sounds like it doesn't decode the avocet accurately every time ? If that's the case I may as well stick to using my Miracle MS10 .

If that's the case I may as well stick to using my Miracle MS10 . To be honest the Avocet ABS keys are really simple to decode by eye. There are only 4 outer cuts with the inner cut been 1 cut higher, the same or deeper. So a 2 cut can only have a raised pip (1 cut) circle in a circle (2 cut) and a slightly deper cut (3 cut). Once you figure this out you can in fact do them by photo unless you have a bad manual copy to work from. lock&quay
grahamparker
You really need to see a demo of both machines before making your mind up. I would suggest waiting for the next locksmith show before purchasing anything and regretting not doing so. I had a full day demo of the Silca F900 even though it was during Covid tier 3 lockdown as I did not want to purchase a machine that would not do what i wanted. I got on the train home and rang Andy Lewis @ Aldridges and placed my order straight away after the demo. They now have the Silca van just call and ask for a visit, they brought the Silca Idea for me to see as well before purchasing. The only machine I have ever bought without a demo was the Triax Pro but I already owned a Triax so knew it's capabilities. lock&quay
lock&quay
I place my order .... as I was expecting the DB rep & made sure I was was available I was going to place an order with him for the Keyline But He never showed , that evening I spoke to my mentor who has both machines He said He liked using the Keyline best but it didn't like cutting our Ankerslot restricted system that a thick nickel silver & He had done some tests for me & The Silca decoded more accurately . Order now placed for the Silca . da miller and grahamparker

If your serious about cutting keys then buy the best you can afford not the cheapest it will cost you more in the long run. I'm inclined to agree, but I have just bought a Kukai Alpha Pro to run alongside my Futura (As Silca are not getting my money after pulling support on it with 2 weeks notice!). I am primarily Vehicle keys. So far I am preferring the new machine. Easier to use, quieter and I think quicker. Edge keys way better! No need for loads of expensive clamps. Some of the data is a bit dated but you can usually find what you need. Particularly like that it doesn't need you to use stops most of the time as it probes the key position before decoding/cutting. I guess its not got the same build quality but if about quarter of the price! Make sure you clean the key before decoding though or it eats decoding tracers! Time will tell.
