Davenport Tapered Y32A and Y42A Blanks

Has anyone used the Davenport tapered blanks for the Y32A and the Y42A yet?

Used the free samples they sent out.

Cut ok. Both worked.

I thought copies weren’t allowed as they’re patented. Did originally use ya91’s & taper shoulder until someone told me I couldn’t. Will go back to them I think.

No Longer Patented !!!. Expired 24/04/2023

Patent has expired apparently .

used today, cut 6 of three different key

there only over the road so one hour or so later, all must work

I’ve still got quite a few of the originals, so I’ll change over once my stocks are running low. As the patent’s expired I’d expect all the other blank manufacturers to release their versions in the not so distant future.

only if im doing an offer like 2nd key half price

copy keys work fine half yale lock to test
