simon payne
I've just replaced a Yale No.1, but oddly none of the Yale blanks in my van seemed to fit ( I'm a Locksmith ) Have Yale changed the profile for this lock, and if they have would it be a Yale B8 ? Not being sarcastic but if the A1 key didn't fit, how sure are you you've fitted a "Yale No 1" ?!
Matt@Silca
Is the Yale lock you have fitted using the 'new' style thin shoulder that interacts with the lock?
Dave the locksmith
Probably the Yale KBA blank
grahamparker
Was it a No. 1 or a PBS 1.
grahamparker
Is the Yale lock you have fitted using the 'new' style thin shoulder that interacts with the lock? How does it interact Matt, as far as i could tell the plug has raised edges stopping a standard blank entering all the way to the shoulder. kobblers
simon payne
It was a No.1, Ive got an awful feeling I only tried with the new KTM blank and not a YA1E. grahamparker
