Mike at Vauxhall
Very pleased with myself. Customer had a eurolock key, seemed identical to a l & f blank. But the l & f was 0.35 mm less wide. Would not work. I managed to widen a blank , to the required 7.35mm, using my hammer and last , key worked a treat. Next customer had a problem ( not just the battery) with a fossil big tic watch. I knew they have a fairly standard miyota movement under the digital. Normally would have passed on it, but seen as I was on a high went for it. May as well have used the hammer and last on the watch as well, complete mess. Looks like a replacement job. Well you live and learn. k4mrc
Craig Gardner
Send it to lee I am sure he will be able to sort it out for you. And remember it ain't always true the saying if you can't fix it with a hammer it ain't worth fixing Craig

hibsjo(SCO)
so what guarantee do you give with that? if it fails do you buy another, and another send it and get it fixed then you can offer a guarantee? carry on!
Mike at Vauxhall
The chances of a new watch failing are statistically very low. I will offer her a full one year guarantee from the date she picks it up. In the unlikely event of it breaking down again I won't hesitate to honour the guarantee. Mike at Vauxhall
Plus if I get a new watch. The customer gets the head and her old bracelet. I get a new bracelet to sell at £ 15. The customer is still paying £ 10 ( there was an underlying fault and she is very happy with what I'm doing). I am therefore only about £5 down. She is a regular so I have taken well over £5 off her over the past decade. Everbodys happy.
