holly12345
Help please? I went out to program a new fob for a lost key situation with the round fob with 2 buttons on the sides, but it would only program the key and not work the central locking so basically alarm was going off evey so often but was driveable apart from hazards lights coming on when alarm did. Ive tried manually and with machine but no luck, the alarm is a scorpion if that helps.
completelocks
Scorpion? Is it an aftermarket alarm? If so, forget it. Need an auto electrician to remove it, or scorpion to sort it out
holly12345
I think it could be an aftermarket alarm, could this be a reason the fob wont program but starts the ignition? In the mean time I unplugged the lead from the siren because it kept going off when you opened the door, and luckily he had the scorpion code which you can manually disable it by by turning the ignition to the numbers on the scorpion pincard which correspond to the number of times the led flashes. But still not really what the customer wants
rapidlocks
not all dispatch have remote central locking enabled , so this could also be a factor , the after market alarm will need a new remote from scorpion
holly12345
He did have a remote which broke reason him asking for another one, just cant understand why it programmed the key to work but not the remote side of it. Bloody expensive remotes too!

Auto Key Wizard
If it's an original remote key as in image Then immobiliser and remote are coded diagnostically, independently using PIN code.
