What about trying the Regent blank? It's on page 105 of the Dav Burg book and the reference is KBRG1 OR KBRG2.

I saw that one, it looked like a precut, though.

 

The slightly ellipsoid shape of the blank should allow the use of a standard flat ZA type of blank, shouldn't it?
