tallchris
Hey guys and girls just wondering i see alot of repair coming in to my shop that have been repaired elsewhere with the welts full of stitches where they have not removed the old. Im a stickler for removing all old stitches whether they are blaked or outsole stitched but who else on here removes the stitches and if so do you charge a bit more to do so??? Tom D
if you remove the old stitches i find they stitch much easier or is it just me?
chrisorros
Always always remove. It's the little things like that what make all difference to your work. if you remove the old stitches i find they stitch much easier or is it just me? I find that aswell. Less resistance as not pulling on the old stitches i was always told.
AcremanS
if you remove the old stitches i find they stitch much easier or is it just me? 100% true. The viktor i use kicks up a fuss unless you pick out the stitches, shame I'm the only person in the shop who bothers with the "little details"....
