glue fume extraction

Recommended Posts

Opening your door doesn't necassarily deal with the fumes, you need movement of air to remove the vapours and you can't guarantee that by 'opening a door'. You also have to remember where the fumes are in order to deal with them, ie, high low or everywhere.

How many Dry Cleaners have enormous X-Pelair extractors running all day yet you can still smell the Percolene that they use, all the extractor is doing is removing the clean, fresh air from the top of the shop and drawing the vapours upwards, thus making the air that you are breathing more unpalletable.

Dealing with them at source is always a better solution :D

During my 34 years in this Trade, I'm not aware of a 'bang' due to adhesive fumes exploding :? We offer a 'cleaner' option to help deal with the awful odours produced by adhesives. It's by no means a 'total' solution, but it goes someway in dealing with it.

Most shops that I know of have a door, when opened by customers, it dilutes any potentially explosive gases. Whilst I would never say a 'bang' is impossible, it's highly unlikely :D
