key cabin
What the hell is happening with these cutting blades just lately, i bought a new cutting blade for my RST MK2 from SKS it only lasted 2 weeks and it was blunt, its not as if these things are cheap either. Anyone know where i can get some decent long lasting blades from?
Gray
I've had my last blade on my Jakey Mk 2 for well over 12 months now. Still going strong. I think a lot is dependant on how you use them. Nice and gently and let the tool do the work.
Auto Key Wizard
Purchasing genuine cutters does make a difference. Also the type of material the blanks are manufactured from will quickly dull a cutters performance, In my opinion JMA are far harder than Silca's special steel, HD are free cutting brass. The cheaper blanks are not always going to save you money long-term , something has to give, usually the life of a cutter!!
grahamparker
Totally agree with Tel, only silca blanks for me to.
