Mad Irish Cobbler
Zed Bull are great, I started with a 883 but within 6 mts, had a bull. They can do so much more and they have loads of head space to grow into, ie. zed-prog, OBD cables and so on. Hope this helps a bit. Des.

Lee
are they any good as a first machine. if this is a "first" step into transponders, then the zedbull (from what I've heard) can be complicated. Any of the current crop are good, it just depends on where you see the market going, are you planning on moving into remotes & diagnostics or just planning over the counter work? There's winning machines for each level. Lee
Russell
I would recommend the zed bull. Easy to operate and gives clear instructions to code ID46 chips. It will also code silca electronic heads as well as stand alone chips , but main thing is you make more profit as blanks are cheaper. Hickleys also give superb back up technical support. Their one day training seminar will also teach you a lot and instill confidence.
Fast Fix Elgin
If this is your first transponder machine start with a cloner then go onto a programer...go for RW4plus or the 884, learn what you can't do with the customers coming throu the door then build on that......do not jump in with both feet...it will only demoralise you, money spent on the above machines will not be wasted, when you come across something you cannot do phone your supplier and ask why not..that is how you will build up your knowledge and then go onto a programer... Lee
only concern in the UK with Silca RW4 now is you can only get them from Charles birch, which means blanks & heads HAVE to come from them. All other suppliers of Silca (from what I understand) to date can no longer supply you, as Charles Birch have sole UK distribution. 884 is VERY credible as is keycrypt/ad900 Lee
grahamparker
Not quite correct Lee, Birches will supply the shoe repair industry,But Aldridges are still the main supplier to the locksmith industry. Aldridges to my knowledge are still the biggest wholesaler of blanks in the uk and will continue to be.

3D Group
We also are able to supply silca products to the auto industry so don't worry.
