robinh
We have heard today that Alan Knott sadly passed away on Monday 20th June 2011. Alan was highly respected throughout the trade firstly as a representative of T.W. Bailey of Kettering followed by a number of years with Edward Healy & Sons. Alan was a true gentleman of the trade and renowned for his boundless enthusiasm and attention to detail. Although it is some years since Alan was active in the repair trade he will be remebered by many customers throughout the east of England.
Lee
Sad news indeed, a house hold name in these parts. I'll sit & give him a few minutes respect. Lee
StevenB
I remember Alan as being Healy's rep when I started in the trade back in 1994 until he retired. I echo the sentiments above, a true gent indeed.

keithm
Whilst I never met or knew Alan, any loss in the trade is always a sad one, regards to his family
