Count Muppet
looks like a rubber car mat to me
theshoeman9
i thought that & i've seen car mats with that pattern in the middle, but i ain't paying 30 quid for a few square inches of it.some of the cricketers like it on their heels rather than spikes & i could do with quite a bit of it.Or something similar. Count Muppet
they have sold the mats in wilkinsons in the past, approx 16x10 inch at about 90p each should prob get 4 pairs out of each mat

There's more to it than just the shape the rubber is moulded into.
Count Muppet
That's true, I doubt it would be the perfect option for using for heels but all I was saying is what it looks like and where I have seen it. At that price though it would be worth letting one of them try some for free to see how it lasts.

Michael
This is the sheeting I use to convert trainers to cricket shoes. Not as thick as what your after but very good wear and has the pimple effect for grip.Just cut a piece the shape of the shoe, mount the collars and spikes onto the sheeting and then scour the shoe, bond on material then scour edges to finish. keithm
8mm Clivia is good stuff, it lasts and sticks well too If it was car mat type material, why not talk with Harborough Rubber Company in Marlet Harborough. They produce all sorts of rubber product and may be able to help you. Keith
