Leather Strapping Supplier

I'm after leather strapping 1" wide in 2 metre lengths for a customer who has a rear rack on his classic sports car. Trouble is he needs it in a reddish brown and not the chocolate brown that every supplier I use has. Anyone ideas who to try?

I used to by leather from JT Batchelor, in Culford mews londinium - do a google (may have moved) you need chrome leather I think not russet

To get that sort of length, you'd probably be better off using bridle leather, which will be more resistant to outdoor use. A local saddler may have a rein butt that will cut to 2 metres, or you could perhaps try someone like Sedgwick's, who have bridle leather in a good range of colours.
