kobblers
Question for all you vinyl cutting dudes Is there a way to turn a basic image into just an outline so I can plot it? Also, is there a disc or resource available anywhere with loads of plotting images on that you can point me in the direction of? Cheers, Rick. Michael
Adobe Illustrator can vectorise graphics, or use your engraving software to vectorise and save as..... There are companies online that will do it for you at a price....or ask certain people on here very, very nicely.. Have a look through here..http://www.uksignboards.com Loads of great stuff

Guest PeterKettle
It's been said before, but there are many programs which can vectorise or trace a logo. CorelDRAW's CorelTRACE is pretty good and probably the cheapest. But you may save yourself a lot of time by checking out online sites such as http://www.brandsoftheworld.com - they have a massive library of downloadable .eps corporate, club and other well known logos. kobblers
Thanks Peter but it's other types of graphics I'm after; things for catering, pubs and retail. Handy link that however Rick.
Guest PeterKettle
As feldy says then, CorelDRAW is probably the way to go. Full retail versions are jammed with vectorised images from hamburgers to horses (same thing in France, except one is in a bun). I don't know what restrictions there are, but this looks like a great offer - http://www.amazon.co.uk/CorelDRAW-Graph ... 863&sr=8-1 Or there are clipart disks you can buy - http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keyw ... n7h0qkld_e, depends whether your vinyl cutting/engraving software will accept the formats.
